  1. In the parable of the lost sheep, Jesus says that he will guide the people that have sinned instead of guiding the righteous.
The parable about the good Samaritan talks about the fact that no matter who that person is, he can still be good.
The healing of the paralytic reminds us that Jesus shall forgive our sins and it cleanses us for people to renew our faith.

The Parable of the Lost Sheep
a.) The Parable tells us to not give up on those who sin.
b.) The Pharisees and the Sadducees looked down on people who sinned instead of trying to save them.

The Parable of the Good Samaritan
a.) This Parable tells us to treat our neighbors with love and compassion. Jesus himself, gave us instruction to follow the example of the Good Samaritan, being caring towards others, regardless of who they are.
b.) The message addresses the situation in Jesus’s world in the sense that social classes were very dominant. People of higher social classes refused to show kindness and concern towards the less fortunate. The Samaritan, however, showed compassion towards the poor stranger.

    Healing of the Paralytic
a.) The illness that was being healed was Paralysis.
b.) The message of the miracle is that we should have faith in God even if we don’t see him, as we are rewarded for that faith.
c.) The people in Jesus’s time had to “see to believe”. This was why not everyone believed in Jesus’s power, and those who did were rewarded.
